Dear JustLadies Travel Club,

I have gone on 3 trips with JustLadies Travel Club. My first trip was to Las Vegas in 2007; the second trip was a Mediterranean cruise on Royal Caribbean in 2008; and the third trip was by train to Washington , DC in 2009 to see the Cherry Blossoms. On the first trip, I was paired with someone I did not know (a little scary), but we hit it off, and I consider her a good friend now. The cruise was the trip of a lifetime for me as I had never traveled to Europe . I think I can speak for everyone and say that we all had a wonderful time. If Peggy wasn’t there, I don’t think we would have made the first leg of our flight to Munich . She pulled some pretty big strings to get us checked in at the airport. What’s great about the trips is you can do things with the other ladies, just meet for dinner or totally go out on your own. You don’t have to be part of the group unless you want to be! The monthly meetings are fun too. Most of my friends are married with children or are not interested in traveling. This was a great way for me to meet ladies who have a common interest—to travel! You have to be willing to open yourself up and just do it!

I must tell you again how much I enjoyed our recent trip to Santa Fe . The city was on my list of places to see, and I was even more delighted with it than I had anticipated! I especially like The Inn on the Alameda . A great location! Delicious breakfast! Daily “happy hour”! It could not have been better. The tours to Taos and Bandlier were enjoyable and educational, too. Thank you for all of our efforts to make this a unique travel experience for all of us! It was a pleasure to get to know you better.

Dear JustLadies Travel Club,

I was fortunate enough to be offered an opportunity for an early retirement. With that opportunity, came the chance to indulge my passion for travel. Unfortunately most of my friends were still working and didn’t have the vacation time or means to travel as I could. Luckily I can upon the JustLadies Travel Club. Without knowing anyone, I went to my first meeting and the next thing I knew I was off to Chicago . Who would believe the fun I could have with 30 strangers. Before I knew it, I was off on three more trips— Ireland , Santa Fe and San Francisco . I feel fortunate to meet such lively, interesting and enriching group of women. Many of these women feel like old friends even after a few days. Each trip is a new adventure and the laughs we have had (even before the happy hours). I can never look at silk flowers the same way again! Best of all I now have a whole new group of “girlfriends” who have turned into what will be life long friends. I look forward to more adventures with these wonderful women and all the new women I have yet to meet.
